Cool watch for very affordable price! - Review by from Poland

Orient is great brand started in the 1950s.
Contrary to the most budget brands, Orient does not use Citizen or Seiko movements, but their very own in-house mechanism that they are using and consequence to hold to own solutions.

This model is a very great choice for everyone who is searching to start own collection of mechanical watches or likes complications of movements on affordable price. A little heavy, but the user can get used to it.

A dial is very readable and draws the attention of people, who are very interested in complications which are: a day of a week, a day of a month and an am/pm indicator.
The indexes are not printed and pointers are evenly in sync with them, which are looking good and well furnished.
Subdials are lightly below the main dial and that creates an interesting effect of depth. Day of a week has gradient and fabric on it, a day of a month is well visible. Am/pm indicator is not visible, and to see what is pointing a watch user to get a closer look, but I think its done on purpose because of readability of the main dial.
A brand logo is well exposed and not printed, but imposed on a dial.
Sapphire glass is ok when clearly it looks beautiful, but it has the tendency to get dirty quickly.

Bracelet is not as well done as the rest of a watch. The steel that is used is easy to stain, by working for example on MAC - aluminum is scratching belt loop. Has logo on a belt loop.

This watch is using Orients 46846 with 21 jewels which provides medium smooth movement.

- well finished watch
- dials, indexes
- complication of a movement
- design
- price
- bracelet
- orient in-house movement
- sapphire glass
- low-quality steel
- weight of watch
- low readiblity of an am/pm indicator

I would really recommend this watch to anyone that is
